It’s important for us to say that you absolutely don’t need fancy equipment to make good coffee. If you’re just starting out on your coffee journey, just use whatever you have available to you. And if you want to upgrade, continue with something simple.
We recommend either the AeroPress if you like espresso-style coffee with a lot of body or a pour-over like the Chemex or the V60 if you like more acidity.
The coffee used, the water quality and your technique are just as (if not more) important than the gear.
Tip: Most likely, the best thing you can do for your own coffee experience is to grind your coffee beans yourself instead of buying pre-ground coffee.
